If you want to honor your deceased loved one as their birthday or death day approaches, just know that there is no “right” or “wrong” way to do so.
Find a way to honor them that feels aligned with you this year.
And I encourage you to find a way to honor them that doesn’t feel like a “should.” As in, “I should bake their favorite muffins because I did that last year.” How you honor may change year to year. And that’s ok.
Oh, and it’s also ok to let the day come and not have any official “honoring” that occurs. It’s totally fine.
