Hey, Griever,
News flash, there is no real benefit to comparing our grief to someone else’s. That is all.
Thanks to Trudie Bamford for the inspiration for this audio post! Give Trudie a follow!
Take good care,

Hi, I’m Erin, and I’ve been grieving since I took my first breath.
I was born under the heavy cloud of anticipatory grief, and I knew - in my bones - that I would outlive my older sister.
Gina had severe cerebral palsy. She needed constant care for even her most basic needs.
She died in 2016 at the age of 45. Now at 48, I am reaching ages my older sister never reached.
In my micro-memoir, “Awaiting the Call for 40 Years” (working title,) I share my lifelong experience of grief. My hope is that by sharing my own grief story, you feel less alone in your grief.
Thank you for supporting my work. And please know, Griever, that you’re not alone.
